Coaching comes naturally to each of the P2 team members. We have all benefited from expert instruction in sports and business, so we take the chance to help our customers in this way quite seriously. Coaching occurs as a part of implementation and assessment, and as a follow-up to training. We know that our success is directly tied to the success of our customers. We often coach for free, as we just can't hold back, but more extensive coaching in groups or individual appointments are available at a contracted rate.
"I'm juggling responsibilities for family, ownership, and business concerns. There are times when I had no one to talk to at critical points. Having a coach as a thinking partner simplified some complicated decisions." Brad, second generation Business Owner |

What is coaching?
Coaching helps leaders leverage their strengths and develop themselves in ways that bring greater effectiveness and satisfaction in their career. Our coaches primarily work with leaders who are transforming their organizations to keep great people, lower production costs, and sustain profitability. Initial coaching meetings are held in-person and most coaching is then conducted over the telephone.
Why choose a P2 coach?
A P2 coach understands the Lean Transformation and will help you identify and maximize the benefits of your unique qualities and as well as potential areas for development. Dr. Ellis, a Certified Professional Coach, will either work with you personally or assist you in finding the coach that fits your needs and objectives. You will develop a personal action plan with measurable results in both effectiveness and satisfaction.
How does it work?
Coaching can take place in person or on the phone. You and your coach will schedule regular one hour sessions for discussion. Email/text is often used to keep in touch in between sessions. Assessment tools may be used to help evaluate & set goals. Coaching is targeted, supportive and usually of a short duration.
The initial session is conducted in-person to help assess your goals and plan the coaching process. It is at least one and one half hours long. A complimentary professional assessment is completed at your convenience during the first week to help you objectively determine your strengths and key areas for potential improvement.
