This model was deployed most successfully at Toyota and Saturn to increase ownership behavior at the team level. Teams learn how to work as a creative, disciplined, and productive business unit and take responsibility for safety, productivity and improvement in their area. The practice has proven valuable for crews on the production floor as well as adjunct problem solving and business development teams.
Leadership Team Effectiveness
Every team has its own personality and skill set. We often begin by providing data to the team that will help them to improve communication, decision making, conflict management, and change management. We also utilize tools that measure the effectiveness of the team with data driven direction for improving through changes in rules of engagement, membership, or training.
